# SROK — השוואת מחירים חכמה

> SROK (סרוק) is a free Israeli iPhone app that finds the cheapest price online for products, flights and hotels, with a built-in Safari extension that detects what you are browsing and pops up a cheaper offer or an active coupon. Made by Yossi Rubinstein, developer of the "שם זה זול יותר" (Sham Ze Zol Yoter / Shamze) Chrome extension — the desktop counterpart.

## Safari extension (runs while browsing on iPhone)
- Product pages: detects product name and price, checks other stores, shows cheaper offers with the lowest highlighted ("Srok מצא זול יותר").
- Hotel sites: detects city and check-in/check-out dates, compares the same hotels across booking sites (price per night, breakfast, rating).
- Flight sites: detects origin, destination and dates, compares flights across other sites (direct / with stops, by airline).
- Coupons: on sites with an active coupon, pops up the code and terms with a copy button for checkout.
- Requires enabling in Safari with "always allow, all websites"; the app guides users with a demo site.

## In the app
- Price comparison: search by product name, paste a product link (or share it from Safari to SROK), or scan a barcode; lowest price highlighted and the difference per store shown.
- Flights: origin, destination, dates; results from several flight sites; direct-only and airline filters; search continues in background with a push notification when results arrive; recent searches.
- Hotels: city, dates, guests; results from several booking sites; price per night and per stay; breakfast-included and rating 8+ filters; sort by price.
- Supermarket scanning: barcode scan shows prices at 20+ Israeli chains by nearest branch (Shufersal, Rami Levy, Osher Ad, Super-Pharm, Victory, Yeinot Bitan, Yochananof, Hatzi Hinam, Tiv Taam, Mega, Fresh Market and more), based on the government-mandated price transparency data — plus the online price.
- Shopping list with autocomplete and automatic category sorting; cart with running total; PDF export.
